Want to be an undergraduate research assistant?

Research experience is (a) a valuable experience during your time as an undergraduate student and (b) an significant aspect when applying for graduate school. Responsibilities include recruiting participants, testing both older and younger adult participants, and assisting with lab operations.

 

In order to participate, students can enroll in up to 3 credit hours of PSY 499, which is offered in Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. You must meet the following criteria:

  • High GPA (over 3.0)
  • Have completed at least one research methods class in psychology (PSY 230 or equivalent).
  • Sophomore standing or higher
  • Hard-working, motivated, dependable, and responsible
